Wendell Macrae

American photographer
American, (1896–1980)
Born 10 July 1896; died 30 November 1980. In 1928, MacRae moved to New York City, New York and worked as a photographer for the Ewing Galloway photo agency. From 1930 to 1949, MacRae ran his own commercial photography studio in New York City, New York. From 1933 to 1937, MacRae served as the staff photographer for the Rockefeller Center, New York City, New York. In 1949 MacRae moved to State College, Pennsylvania, and worked as the publications production manager at Pennsylvania State College. MacRae retired from this position in 1965.
